The Seahawks' first game of the season, on Sunday, Sept. 12, will be played in Indianapolis against the Colts. From 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., Seattle fans can cheer on the team at the Muckleshoot Plaza at Lumen Field. Giant screens will show the game and there will be food trucks, lawn games, beer and more for everyone to enjoy. Grab a selfie with the Super Bowl XLVIII Lombardi trophy or the Super Bowl Ring (or both). The Seahawks' website reads, “We’ll bring the beer and mimosas. You bring the noise.”
The next big event of the week will take place on Tuesday, Sept. 14 when the Seahawks take over the neighborhoods surrounding the stadium. Mascot Blitz and Seahawks personality Gee Scott will be popping up at restaurants around Lumen Field passing out 2021-22 schedule posters and “Welcome Home 12s” rally cards. The Seahawks community team will also be delivering employee-packed care packages to the Allen Family Center.
Then on Sept. 17, Blue Friday is back. Wear your favorite Seahawks jersey, wave your flag and go all-out blue to celebrate the home opener. Tag your photos #TGIBF for a chance to be recognized by the Seahawks and catch a Blue Friday Happy Hour at Elysian Fields. Starting at 5 p.m., the first 100 drinks will be covered by the team. There will also be live performances by Blue Thunder and the Seahawks Dancers. Plus, get your hands on some Seahawks swag and enter to win prizes.

All this fanfare leads up to Sunday, Sept. 19 when the Seahawks take on the Tennessee Titans at 1:25 p.m. at Lumen Field. Before kickoff, catch a special pregame, on-field concert featuring Seattle natives Macklemore and Ayron Jones. The Seahawks ask you, “Bring back the noise, bring back the electric atmosphere, bring back Seahawks gameday." After 630 days, it’s time to enjoy football at Lumen Field once again.
While Lumen Field is allowing full-capacity crowds, masks will be required per the new state mandate. Additionally, all fans in attendance will be required to show proof of full vaccination or a negative COVID test within 72 hours. More health and safety information can be found online.
Additional giveaways and exclusive prizes, including tickets to the home opener at Lumen Field against Tennessee, will be on the Seahawks' social media channels the week of Sept. 12-19. To learn more about the "Welcome Home 12s" events, visit the team's website.
