Not only does the show mark the grand opening of the new arena, it also celebrates the release of Coldplay’s highly anticipated ninth album, Music of the Spheres, which is set to take place one week earlier on Oct. 15. The show will be managed by Live Nation, which manages other entertainment venues in the Pacific Northwest.
Tickets for the concert go on sale on Wednesday, Sept. 15 at 10 a.m. (PT). For fans not in the Seattle area or unable to grab tickets, Amazon will be livestreaming the show across the globe. Prime membership is not required to watch the stream, which will be available on Prime Video, Twitch and the Amazon Music app.
Since this event will be utilizing the Ticketmaster Verified Fan platform, fans hoping to attend the concert can register on the Ticketmaster website now through 9 a.m. (PT) on Sept. 12. Registered fans who receive an access code from the platform will be allowed to purchase tickets a day earlier, on Sept. 14 from 12 p.m. to 11 p.m (PT).
