The dresses and outfits celebrities wore when they won the Golden Globe for Best Actress

The Golden Globes are right around the corner, marking Hollywood's first major fashion event of 2018.

However, this year will be much different.

A red carpet "black out" is expected from actresses in support of raising awareness of sexual harassment.

We thought we'd build up anticipation by taking a look back at the dresses and outfits worn by past Best Actress winners.

Jane Fonda rocked a chic tuxedo look back in 1979, as did Sissey Spacek in 2002.

Now the question is, whose outfit or dress will join the ranks of past winners like Whoopi Goldberg, Sharon Stone, and Natalie Portman?

Jessica Chastain, Sally Hawkins, Frances McDormand, Meryl Streep and Michelle Williams are in the running for the honor.
