With winter weather wreaking havoc on Christmas weekend travel plans, you may be one of the unfortunate few to lose your luggage. Thousands of flights in and out of the United States have already been canceled or delayed, as a "bomb cyclone" brings blizzard conditions near the Great Lakes.

One company has been answering the call of lost luggage throughout the holiday season with free clothes to lessen the blow. Stitch Fix, known for its personalized boxes of clothing and accessories, is sending a limited number of $500 promo codes or free boxes of "Fixes" to folks whose luggage goes missing as we close out 2022, according to a post in the brand's online newsroom. A "Fix" typically includes pieces tailored to your style, as chosen by Stitch Fix stylists.

This new "Travel Style Insurance" is available to anyone, Stitch Fix member or not. To apply, travelers simply send a photo or digital copy of their lost baggage form to Travel-Style-Insurance@stitchfix.com through Jan. 5. The promotion applies to flights taken Dec. 5 through Jan. 5.

If you do get an emergency "Fix" and like what's in your box, Stitch Fix is currently offering $20 off your first purchase if you sign up with your email and take a personal style quiz.
