February is a big month at the Disneyland Resort, with celebrations for Valentine’s Day, Lunar New Year, and Disney100 all taking place. If you’re thinking about taking a vacation to the Disneyland Resort, or are a Disneyland Magic Key holder with park reservations in February, one of the first things you’re going to need to do before hitting the road to Anaheim is figure out what to wear.

Weather in Disneyland in February

February is a transition month for Anaheim, according to accuweather.com. The beginning of the month brings lows in the upper 40s and highs in the mid-60s, while the end of the month can see highs in the mid-70s. But don’t worry about rain, because there seems to be very little in the forecast.

What to wear to Disney

When preparing for a trip to Disneyland, it’s best to check the weather before packing, especially if you’re traveling from anywhere outside of Anaheim. While you may not need a rain jacket in February, it may be wise to pack a disposable poncho, even if you don’t need it for rain, the water on Splash Mountain will be chilly and no one wants to walk around cold and wet for the entire day. This is what we’re wearing to Disneyland this month.

Base layer

With highs reaching the mid-70s near the end of the month, having a base layer that’s worth showing off in the parks is key, like this classic Mickey Mouse t-shirt. It comes in four colors, five fit types including kids for cool matching family outfits, and sizes up to 6X. The vintage look makes the shirt look like an old favorite, even when it's only been worn a few times.

Top layer

A sweatshirt is going to be a necessity on those chilly Disneyland mornings and nights racing to get in just one more ride. This one from The Lost Bros features park icons like the castle, teacups, Space Mountain, and more. When it gets a little too warm for a sweatshirt in the afternoon, it is easy to take off and throw into a backpack until it’s needed again after the sun sets.

Bottoms

To go with the cool graphic designs of the sweatshirt and t-shirt, a pair of cool black jeans will look perfect. The high-rise fit of these ensures they will stay in place while walking around the parks and enjoying attractions. The stretch denim material is comfortable to wear all day without feeling too tight, even after eating all of the best Disneyland snacks.

Socks

A good pair of socks is necessary at Disneyland, especially for those who want to get on every ride and tend not to take a lot of breaks. These socks come in a pack of six, which should be plenty for a weekend jaunt to Disneyland. They are low-cut and have extra cushion to ensure they are comfortable to wear all day long. They also have a tab at the back of the sock that keeps shoes from rubbing against the back of the ankle and causing blisters or small cuts.

Shoes

One of Disney TikToker’s favorite shoes to wear in the parks is the On Cloudnova. The shoe comes in 11 different colors, so it can match any style. The show is equipped with multi-directional Cloud elements that react to movement, which is great when days at Disneyland can be upwards of 12 or more hours of walking.

Backpack

Stay fashionable but still have room for everything with this backpack from lululemon. The backpack currently comes in silver or black and is water-repellent. Inside the main compartment, there is a zipper pocket and a mesh pouch, which are helpful for staying organized throughout the day. The straps are adjustable, but they are not padded.

Accessories

With Disney’s 100 Years of Wonder celebration in full swing in February, any accessories should match the big celebration. These are some fun and easy additions to any outfit that will bring a little extra magic.

Add a little platinum sparkle to any outfit with this Disney100 ear headband. The soft padded ears have little platinum jewels attached to them, with a purple bow in the center of the two ears. In the middle of the bow is a Disney100 logo pin. Even though these have a non-slip interior, we would still take them off on Big Thunder Mountain Railroad just in case.

Get even more out of your Disneyland vacation with this Mickey Mouse and Friends Disney100 MagicBand+. With MagicBand+, guests at the Disneyland Resort can interact with nighttime spectaculars as it lights up and vibrates, play Star Wars: Batuu Bounty Hunters inside Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, and check into the theme parks and Lightning Lane entrances.
