The next three Sounders home matches at Lumen Field — June 23, June 26 and July 7 — will focus on a transition to fully opening the lower bowl of the stadium. The club stated in a press release that proof of vaccination will be required to sit in full-capacity sections.
All season ticket holders, referred to as Alliance Members, received news that they will again be able to access their originally chosen seats. Single-game tickets are also available for purchase to Members, the release noted.
If a Member wishes to attend a game but is not fully vaccinated, they are invited to instead sit in the upper bowl area, in the socially distanced sections, or trade in their ticket for credit to a different match.

The natural break in the Sounders' schedule will allow the club and Lumen Field to make changes as necessary. Following the July 7 match, the next home match will not take place until July 25.
The state of Washington is on course to fully reopen by June 30, and if so, the Sounders are prepared to fully reopen the stadium at that time. The Sounders release said that once the state is fully open, no proof of vaccination or negative test result will be required to sit in any section, and the stadium will be filled to capacity.
The club says they plan to evolve their practices in time for the July 25 match against Kansas City, not the July 7 match. The club needs the break in home matches in order to prepare. However, should the state fully open prior to the June 23 match, Lumen Field would be able to operate at full capacity.
Single match tickets will be available to the general public via the resale market on June 8.
