Warmack, 29, opted out of the 2020 season over COVID-19 concerns. He reportedly lost a family member to the virus, and also had family friends hospitalized because of it.
Warmack signed a non-guaranteed, one-year deal worth $910,000 with the Seahawks last spring. His contract had been set to toll as a voluntary opt-out, meaning he would have stayed under Seattle's control through the 2021 season.

The Seahawks could still bring in Warmack for a physical and workout ahead of the upcoming season though, according to a source familiar with the situation. It would make sense to see how he looks physically and health-wise after stepping away from the game. The 10th overall pick in the 2013 NFL draft, Warmack took 2019 off from football and hasn't played since the 2018 season.
Warmack started in all 48 of his appearances with the Tennessee Titans at right guard from 2013-16. He signed with the Philadelphia Eagles as a free agent in 2017, appearing in 20 games with the franchise and making three starts. He was a member of the Eagles' Super Bowl LII-winning team in the 2017 season.
