Nintendo Switch Lounges are coming to four airports this month -- including Seattle-Tacoma International on Feb. 17-March 29.
Courtesy NintendoNintendo is bringing a little fun to some airports across the country -- including Seattle-Tacoma International Airport -- by bringing Switch lounges to entertain busy travelers.

The lounges will allow travelers to pause for a moment and play some popular video games, including Breath of the Wild, Mario Kart 8, Super Mario Odyssey, Super Mario Party and Tetris 99.
Game demos will be available in both handheld and TV modes.
“Spending time with Nintendo games at our On The Go lounges will give people the opportunity to begin or end their journeys with a smile,” Nick Chavez, Nintendo of America's senior VP of sales and Marketing, said in an online news release.

When they're done playing the games, travelers can order a Switch or Switch Lite system and get a free carrying case. Select games and merchandise will also be available to order. All orders will be shipped within two business days.
The first pop-up Switch Lounge opened at Dallas Love Field airport on Feb. 13. Three others -- Dulled International Airport in Washington, D.C.; O'Hare International Airport in Chicago; and Sea-Tac airport in Seattle -- will open on Monday, Feb. 17. All four lounges will run through Sunday, March 29. When open, Sea-Tac's lounge will be located in concourse C next to gate C10.
Why airports? Nintendo said it's to help highlight the Switch's portability.
