The weekend rounds out with Kids Appreciation Day on Sunday, Oct. 3 when the Mariners play their last game of the regular season against the Los Angeles Angels at 12:10 p.m. All kids under 12 will be greeted at the gate with a free Kyle Lewis t-shirt, courtesy of Boeing. Kids can also enter to win prizes which will be randomly drawn throughout the game. Prizes include autographed merchandise and the chance to throw the first pitch at a game next season.

With only four games left in the season, the Mariners are hopeful for a postseason appearance, the first in 20 years. The Mariners currently sit 0.5 games behind the second Wild Card spot. With the New York Yankees confidently in the top spot, the Mariners are hoping to beat out the Boston Red Sox for the second spot.

The top two Wild Card teams in each league play each other in a one-game playoff, with the winner then facing the number one seed in the Divison Series. Currently, the number one seed in the American League West Division, who the Mariners would play should they make it to the Wild Card Game and win, is the Houston Astros.

The Mariners have one more game against the Oakland Athletics, the last of a series of three games of which Seattle has won the first two. The final three games of the season will host the Los Angeles Angels at T-Mobile Park. The last time the Mariners met the Angels, this past weekend in L.A., the Mariners won the series, winning two of three games.

Tickets are still available for all four remaining games. After a meager attendance of just over 12,000 on Tuesday night, the team is encouraging a large turnout for the end of its exciting season.
