A severe sinus infection has rendered the artist unable to perform this weekend. She was slated to be one of the headliners Friday night.

"I been battling all week & tried to power thru but it got worse," Lizzo said in a tweet.

She goes on to say her doctor has advised her not to fly until she is better.

"I hate cancelling shows. I am so sorry Seattle. I love y'all," she tweeted.

A later tweet shows her laying in bed and sipping tea.

Will the rest of the Bumbershoot lineup make up for the loss? You be the judge: Headliners for the Labor Day weekend festival include The Lumineers; Tyler, the Creator; Rezz; H.E.R.; Jai Wolf, Carly Rae Jepsen and more.

Further down on the roster are local, PNW acts like Sol, Manatee Commune, and Y La Bamba.

Bumbershoot 2019 will also feature comedy acts -- including Neal Brennan and Ramy Youssef -- arts and culture presentations, and culinary treats.
