Mesmerized by the Amazon spheres? Looking to break into the most bustling sector of Seattle's economy? Clearly, tech is where the money is at, so if you're not already in the industry, it can be tempting to jump ship.

According to a new report from Indeed, you might be in luck if you've had your eyes on Facebook, Amazon, and more. Click through the gallery above to see the top ten companies hiring the most for tech roles in Seattle right now.

Despite overall resentment on the part of locals towards the industry and its effect on the affordability of neighborhoods, tech salaries are hard to argue with. According to an Indeed report from 2018, a software engineering manager in Seattle makes an average of $169,795.46 a year.

Software engineers, of course, are some of the most in-demand positions. Indeed revealed that some of the top roles companies are hiring for in Seattle right now include software engineer, senior software engineer, senior product manager, software engineering manager, and technical program manager.

If you're trying to brush up your resume to land the job of your dreams, the most in-demand tech skills include machine learning, scripting, web services, Java, IT experience, AWS, Python, software development, C#, and load balancing.
