Disney is a magical place, and for Adriana Redding, that magic has overflowed into her work. “I'm a woman of many hats, or ears if you will,” says Redding. Right now, she’s the host of Iconic Eats, a YouTube series from Hearst-owned Delish, where she travels to theme parks around the country to try all of the best meals and snacks.

Redding has a large following on her Instagram and TikTok, where she has curated a fanbase that loves seeing her “fandom style.”

“I come up with these elaborate outfits that are themed to whatever theme park or fandom I am celebrating at the time, like Disney, Star Wars, and Harry Potter,” Redding explains.

Her work on Iconic Eats has allowed her to show off her fandom style even more since she plans her outfits for the show based on what park she is visiting and what they may be eating. On a recent trip to Sesame Place in Philadelphia, Redding donned a Cookie Monster-themed dress, complete with a patch of a partially eaten chocolate chip cookie.

This year, she’s looking forward to checking out Avengers Campus at Disney California Adventure and the Super Nintendo World at Universal Studios Hollywood, which officially opens on Feb. 17. “My outfit I'm planning for [Super Nintendo World] is going to be insane,” Redding says.

As she flies around the country looking for the best bites and sips at theme parks, she also has some essentials that she’s always carrying for Disney trips. “I try to travel as light as possible when I'm at a theme park but I cannot leave the house without any of these,” says Redding.

What’s in your travel bag?

Redding says this Touchland Hand Sanitizer is her go-to for a day at Disney parks. “I absolutely have to have a hand sanitizer in every bag. The Touchland brand is my favorite because they are so compact and slim,” she says.

The small hand sanitizers come in 10 different scents, including rainwater, watermelon and vanilla blossom. Each bottle has about 500 sprays, which should last well beyond a trip to Disneyland or Universal Studios Hollywood. A major bonus is that the brand uses a clean, vegan and cruelty-free formulation, so it’s a product you can feel good about, too.

Every good influencer has their go-to ring light, and for Redding, that means showing off her love of Disney with this Minnie Mouse ring light. It clips to the top of most cell phones and has three LED light modes so you get the perfect amount of light for every photo. If Minnie Mouse isn’t your favorite character, the ring light also comes in the shape of Mickey Mouse. Or you can buy both ring lights as a set for a few dollars more.

“These are such a lifesaver, especially when I’m trying to capture food or a selfie in a dimly lit area at night,” says Redding.

Redding is all about saving space in her theme park bag, especially since she usually carries a purse or fanny pack rather than a backpack. For her, a slim wallet or card holder is ideal. “I don't like anything bulky in my bags, so the slimmer the wallet the better,” she says.

This option from Amazon has space for just a few credit cards and an ID, along with a small money pouch. The wallet is equipped with RFID-blocking technology so there’s no need to worry about having your card skimmed while at a theme park or at the airport.

Redding’s go-to lipstick is ColourPop Lippie Stix. The super affordable lipsticks come in an abundance of colors, which Redding says is her favorite thing about the brand. “I love a bold lip to go with my outfit and these lipsticks are super long lasting,” she explains.

Some of those shades  include bright reds, hot pinks and exciting purples. The brand is known for its collaborations with Disney, too, making full collections themed around attractions like “It’s a Small World” or brands like The Muppets

A mini handheld fan has become a must-have for most people visiting Disney, including Redding. “I keep a mini fan with me at all times to keep myself cool. It’s my secret to how I keep my makeup looking so good throughout the day,” she says.

Her go-to fan is this VersionTech fan, which comes in five different colors. The fan has a rechargeable battery and operates with  three different speeds. The foldable design allows it to be easily stored in a purse or backpack. The handle can also be used as a prop to hold the actual fan up on a table while eating snacks or taking a short break at Disney.
