Recruiting website Glassdoor has released its list of the 50 best jobs in America -- and several of them are hiring in 2019.

"With such a healthy job market kicking off 2019, we're seeing many of these best jobs open for people to apply to and get hired at employers across all industries and in all areas of the country," Amanda Stansell, an economic research analyst for Glassdoor, said in a news release.

To get this list of best jobs, Glassdoor examined the earning potential, overall job satisfaction rating and number of openings for each career. The three categories are weighed equally -- meaning the "best jobs" are the ones that scored the highest in all three categories combined.

For a job to be considered for the list, Glassdoor must have received at least 100 salary reports and 100 job satisfaction ratings from U.S.-based employees over the past year. The number of job openings per job title represents active job listings posted on Glassdoor as of Jan. 2.

Applicants should be aware that many of these positions are in highly skilled fields, and you may need some education or experience before applying.

"There's no question that emerging technologies designed to grow and scale business, such as artificial intelligence, machine learning and automation, are having an impact on the types of jobs employers are hiring for across the country. As a result, we're seeing a spike in demand for highly-skilled workers in 2019," Stansell said.
