According to Ali, growing up in a family-oriented community in Winnipeg, Manitoba, entrepreneurship was instilled in him at a young age. He was inspired to create his own professional path, relying on his drive and commitment to reach the top. He recalls seeing successful business people, and what went through his mind was how he would one day become a great success story.

“What inspired me the most was how their focus was more on customer satisfaction than the money they generated,” Ali said. This is something that Ali has embraced in his own career by becoming the Director of Marketing for Canadian Islamic Wealth.

“Success is more of a journey than a destination,” says Ali. People are presented with new terms that they may not be thoroughly familiar with on each new page. This means they have to educate themselves and improve their skills constantly. By having solid networks, they get to share ideas that will help grow their businesses.
