Our gaming habits have either exploded or gotten into a rut over the past two years of COVID-related at-homeness, and Amazon’s Prime Day is here to refresh your gaming queue. Through July 13, the e-retailer is releasing more than 25 games for free. The caveat is that you have to have a Prime membership to access Prime Gaming, which is where all these free games live, but of course, if you didn’t have a Prime membership, you wouldn't be scouting for Prime Day deals. So here we are, Primed and ready for some free games!

One of the bestsellers that Amazon is letting Prime members download for free today is the edge-of-your-sofa adventure game Mass Effect Legendary Edition for PC. You just need your Prime membership linked up to your Electronic Arts account and the Origin platform to play.

Beyond that, there’s a lot to enjoy if you’re a Prime member:

  • 8Doors: Arum’s Afterlife Adventure
  • 10 Second Ninja X
  • Addling Adventures
  • Bang Bang Racing
  • Clouds & Sheep 2
  • Death Squared
  • Fatal Fury Special
  • Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams
  • Gone Viral
  • Grid Legends
  • HUE
  • Manual Samuel
  • Mass Effect Legendary Edition
  • Metal Slug 2
  • Metal Unit
  • Need for Speed Heat
  • Pumped BMX Pro
  • Puzzle of the Year — 10 Pack
  • Rain World
  • Road Trip — 3 Pack
  • Samurai Shodown II
  • Serial Cleaner
  • The Crow’s Eye
  • The Darkside Detective
  • The Darkside Detective: A Fumble in the Dark
  • The King of Fighters 2000
  • The King of Fighters 2002
  • The Metronomicon: Slay the Dance Floor

If this list doesn’t convince you, there are some great perks to Prime Gaming. New PC games are released each month, and once you download them you keep them forever. You can also pick a Twitch channel to subscribe to each month, and you’ll find free in-game content, too. Ready to dive in? Get your Prime membership active and get downloading now — the offer for the game ends tomorrow.
