After a bit of a rocky first half, the San Francisco 49ers blew out the Seattle Seahawks in the Wild Card round with a final score of 41-23, outscoring them 25-6 in the second half. As the No. 2 seed in the NFC, the 49ers get home-field advantage for the second week in a row when the Dallas Cowboys come to town and visit Levi’s Stadium to play the 49ers on Sunday afternoon at 3:30 p.m. PST.

Rookie quarterback sensation Brock Purdy continued his ascent to stardom this past weekend, throwing for 332 yards, which is the 3rd most in franchise playoff history. Fan-favorite players Christian McCaffrey and Deebo Samuel both racked up over 100 scrimmage yards each, and the 49ers rolled their division rival for the 3rd time this season.

The upcoming matchup against the Cowboys is set to be much more difficult, as Dallas is one of the only teams in the league with arguably as much talent as the 49ers. Dak Prescott and co. put an end to Tom Brady’s season – and potentially even his career – as the Cowboys crushed the Bucs on Monday night 31-14. If the Cowboys' offense continues to roll like that and the defense can put pressure on Purdy, the 49ers might be in for their toughest game of the season.

With a trip to the NFC Championship game on the line, you won’t want to miss this game.

49ers vs. Cowboys Divisional Round Playoff Game: How to watch

  • When: Sunday, Jan 22, 3:30 p.m. PST
  • Where: Levi’s Stadium, Santa Clara, CA
  • TV: FOX (streaming with Hulu + Live TV or YouTube TV)
  • Radio: 107.7 The Bone

Due to some bad weather (and a subpar opponent) last weekend, you could’ve gone to the 49ers-Seahawks game for less than $80. But since this is the freakin’ Dallas Cowboys coming to town, it’s going to cost a pretty penny to attend. As of now, the cheapest 49ers vs Cowboys tickets are $475+ each on Ticketmaster for the upper sections. Stubhub also has tickets in these seats for sale, with prices starting at just over $500 a piece.

If you want to see the 49ers up close and personal, you’ll need to shell out upwards of $1,000+ per ticket to sit towards the front of the lower sections. For the best seats in the house – the front row right at midfield – you can expect to pay closer to $7,500 each plus taxes and fees. A pair of these seats might be enough to buy a small used car, sure, or you could see the 49ers beat the Cowboys in person. Easy decision.

Waiting until the last minute would’ve saved you money last weekend, but don’t expect to find cheap tickets for this game the day before. The weather in Santa Clara is set to be sunny and clear, and any 49ers game that involves the Cowboys is going to sell out fast and likely stay that way.
